The second volume in the series picks up where the first left off. However, good fortune does not last, and Lawrence and Holo find themselves in a bit of a predicament.
I liked this novel more than the first. Holo is endearing, and her childlike behavior depth to her wisdom when she shares it. The relationship between the characters is growing slowly and I like that slow change. I'm looking forward to continuing this series of light novels.
